The Autumn semester beginners course will start on 20 February with a free Introductory Class. After a free trial class, you can choose to sign up for a beginners membership, and you will receive what is in the beginner's package listed below
Beginners Package Fees:
$100 UTS Student/Staff | $120 Non-UTS Student
Spring Semester Membership Beginners Package will include:
- Training sessions for the entire Semester (Including training within the University holidays)
- Complimentary 10 weeks beginners course
- Free Shinai (Bamboo Sword)
Beginners Training Sessions:
- Tuesdays 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Fridays 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Sundays 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Our kids class runs all year on Sundays. You can join at the start of the kids beginners class. First class is always free to get a feel for the class first. If you would like to sign up, the membership fee for the year and what is included is listed below
Junior Membership Fees:
$100 Membership includes:
- Training sessions for the whole financial year
- NSWKA membership (required for grading)
- Free Shinai (Bamboo Sword)
- NSW Active Kids Vouchers accepted
$60 Membership includes:
- Training sessions for the whole financial year
- Free Shinai (Bamboo Sword)
Kids Training Session:
- Sundays 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
